Eco-Fin Senior Technician: Financial justification of funding

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CIC energiGUNE is looking for a person for the position of Senior Eco-Fin Technician, specialised in accounting and economic justification of public funding programmes, within the Economic-Financial Area.

The person will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, and will play a key role in economic control, financial traceability and accountability to funding bodies of R&D&I projects at regional, national and European level (Hazitek, Elkartek, CDTI, Horizon Europe, Ministry Programmes...).

Main job functions:

• Accounting of purchase invoices, verifying their eligibility and correct allocation to funded projects.
• Preparation and review of supporting financial information, taking into account eligibility, efficiency and audit criteria.
• Document coordination for external and internal financial audits.
• Transversal support to the economic-financial area.
• Intensive use of management tools such as Navision and advanced spreadsheets.
