JOB DESCRIPTION:
CIC energiGUNE is recruiting a predoctoral researcher for INCEPTION Doctoral Network (HORIZON EUROPE – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Networks 2024 HORIZON-MSCA-2024-DN-01-01 Grant Agreement Nº. 101226853).
The INCEPTION – Doctoral Network aims to face zinc-based energy storage development by (i) exploring the innovative idea of supporting the development of rechargeable batteries (RB) and supercapacitors (SC) by early addressing recycling & manufacturing within Safe and Sustainable by Design framework, and (ii) by exploiting excellent expertise and advanced technologies at leading universities, research centers, enterprises, and associations.
Expected results of the PhD thesis will be the development of novel semi-hybrid SC that operate at high rates with long cycle life (>10k cycles), enabling high temperature technology surpassing the performance of SoA SC (>45Wh kg-1 and 5kW kg-1)
