PhD: Nanoconfined Fluids for Next-Generation Energy and Functional Technologies

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CIC energiGUNE is recruiting PhD candidates to pursui a doctoral thesis in a cross-disciplinary topic, within the Thermal Energy Storage and Conversion Area of CIC energiGUNE.

Main job functions:

• Conduct high-quality, original research on nanoconfined fluids and their role in emerging technologies.
• Design and perform advanced experiments on fluids confined in nanoporous materials.
• Analyze experimental data and contribute to theoretical interpretation of results.
• Publish research findings in top high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
• Present results at international conferences and workshops.
• Actively contribute to collaborative research activities within the group and with external partners.

Area: Thermal Enery Storage and Conversion (TESC)

Group: Interfacial phenomena, colloids and porous media
